Apprentice and Trainee Management Services

North Coast Recruitment delivers a valuable service that can source and manager Apprentices and Trainees for host employers operating in a wide range of industries. Our service includes recruiting and inducting new Apprentices and Trainees, as well as regularly monitoring the on and off-the-job components of their placement.

Apprentices and Trainees are employed directly by North Coast Recruitment as per the relevant Modern Award or Agreement applicable to the host employer. Our all-inclusive hourly rate covers wages, annual leave personal leave, workers compensation, payroll tax, superannuation and training costs.

All Apprentices and Trainees are: interviewed by our consultants; reference checked; have their licences and qualifications verified and, where necessary, complete skills testing.

Any Apprentice or Trainee working in blue collar environments are required to complete pre-employment medical and hearing tests prior to commencement, as well as drug and alcohol testing if required.

The work and training performances of all Apprentices and Trainees are regularly monitored to ensure they meet workplace and training expectations.All issues affecting our Apprentices and Trainees are addressed in consultation with our Consultants, the host employer and training providers. Our management service covers all aspects of employing Apprentices or Trainees, including monthly worksite performance reviews with host employers, ensuring compliance of workplace health and safety, monitoring attendance and attitude, verifying training outcomes, provision of workplace clothing, pre-employment medical costs and undertaking disciplinary action if required.
